Pikes Peak Park

Pikes Peak Park is currently on pause as we work through the next steps in the planning process. NeighborWorks Southern Colorado's goal has always been to provide the Pueblo community with attainable homeownership opportunities to create generational wealth. We remain committed to this goal and are working on options that allow this to be achieved. We will share updates as soon as new information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and continued interest.

Our Vision

Our goal is to produce low-cost, mixed-income affordable housing, attract services and increase the self-sufficiency of the organization through earned income opportunities. Through this development we hope to spur growth and develop roads to make the area more accessible for public transportation usage. The vision is to attract the right neighborhood services such as, a grocer, medical facility, farmers market, restaurants, offices, and cultural facilities, particularly targeting small business minority owners and persons of color to promote equitable development. Utilizing our previous experience in developing a subdivision and our recent shared equity partnerships, our goal is to build a neighborhood that serve mixed incomes targeting homeownership between 50-120% AMI (Area Median Income).

Through community engagement, critical thinking, diverse expertise and the right partnerships; we envision the Pikes Peak Park Neighborhood as a critical first step that will positively impact the entire Westside community by providing proof of concept, linking disparate developments together, raising home values, connecting people to nature, amenities and each other, and ultimately become more integrated into the City.
