With a little sweat equity, we can earn $15,000-$25,000 of equity into a home! We will be using this program in our new Pikes Peak Park development.
The SHOP program allows first-time low-and-middle income (LMI) homebuyers to contribute 50-100 hours of labor or sweat equity toward the construction or rehabilitation of their home in exchange for equity into the purchase of their home.
Families must income qualify to participate in the SHOP program. Income is limited to 80% of the Average Median Income (AMI) limits as reported by HUD, according to family size.
