Flower Power
Students from Bessemer Academy, Carlile Elementary School, Columbian Elementary School, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County-Sprague will help beautify eight blocks on Northern Avenue by planting flowers in over 30 planters.
The City of Pueblo, Colorado - City Government in partnership with NeighborWorks Southern Colorado, the Bessemer Association for Neighborhood Development - BAND, and Pueblo Department of Public Health & Environment will be leading the effort that will span from I-25 to Orman Ave.
The event will began at NeighborWorks Southern Colorado located at 1241 East Routt starting at 8 am with the youth participation starting at 9 am. Historic Pueblo will be providing gift bags to all volunteer youth.
Please be advised that due to class length it is not recommended for children to attend.
